Preston Runyan, DPT, OCS

Preston Runyan, DPT

My name is Preston Runyan, and I am a physical therapist with EnTrust Home Health. I am originally from Altus, Oklahoma. As the child of a retired coach and band director, I was obsessively involved with sports and music throughout my childhood. Rehabbing after a shoulder surgery in high school laid the foundation for my love of overcoming adversity through physical therapy. I earned a football scholarship to the University of Central Oklahoma, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2013. I went on to graduate with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2016. I began my physical therapy career in the outpatient field and am recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists as a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) as of 2018. The one-on-one nature, increased attention to detail, and the enhanced patient/therapist relationship have been key in my transition to the home health world. When not working, you can find my fiancé and I searching for the world’s best meal, at a concert, or tailgating in Norman on a football Saturday. Boomer Sooner!
